Hanwood Park 2025: A year of community growth
17 December 2025
As 2025 draws to a close, we're reflecting on a year of genuine progress across Hanwood Park.
With more than 3,000 residents now calling our development home, we've seen community spirit flourish alongside important infrastructure milestones. Here are a few extracts from our Review of the Year ...
Community connections:
- The Hanwood Park Runners group has grown to over 400 members, whilst new initiatives like the Dads Doddle walking group continue to bring neighbours together.
- Our Project Director Chris Langdon completed both the Kettering Half Marathon and London Marathon, raising over £7,000 for local charities.
- Summer cinema nights and the Christmas Fair brought residents together, whilst the new Residents Portal launched by managing agent Centrick puts estate management at your fingertips.
Major developments:
- We secured initial approvals for the A14 Junction 10A scheme, with a public exhibition planned for Spring 2026.
- David Lloyd Kettering received planning consent and construction will ramp up in the new year.
- Our 30 allotment plots are targeting an April 2026 opening
- We continue working with the Department for Education on our planned secondary school – with positive government support confirmed in December.
Looking ahead:
From breaking ground on the David Lloyd centre to opening community allotments and progressing school plans, 2026 promises exciting developments guided by your input.Thank you for making Hanwood Park the thriving community it is today.
