Final Community Engagement Workshop For The New Hanwood Park Design Code

Thank you to all who attended the third and final community engagement workshop, for the new Design Codes, on Wednesday 13th August.
This session was the final in a series of three workshops which were held to inform and provide opportunity for residents, the local community, and wider stakeholders to input their ideas.
The focus was on the new Area Design Code 1 and included a presentation from the design team, followed by group discussions, giving attendees opportunity to share their ideas on landscape and public realm and key groupings and built form.
All three sessions were well attended and provided some very positive and constructive input. This will now be reviewed by the design team in more detail and considered as part of finalising the design codes. A report detailing the engagement process, all input, and ideas and how these have been considered will be published in due course.
Thank you again to everyone who attended any of the sessions – it really was great to have such positive input into the process and see some great ideas and feedback come out of the sessions.
