Recreation and play

With more than 50 hectares of open space - Hanwood Park has room to move. Play areas and equipped playgrounds for children of all ages will sit alongside the wider open sapces network, creating space for activity, exploration and fresh air. Sports pitches and more formal recreational facilities are planned as the development grows, and has developed with residents and local sports clubs throughout 2026.

David Lloyd Kettering, currently under construction on site, will open towards the end of 2026 as a premium health, fitness and racquets destination. Offering tennis, squash, badminton and padel courts, a state-of-the-art gym, spa and family-friendly facilities, it will bring a major new leisure offer to Hanwood Park and the wider area.
