Our green spaces

Through the development of Hanwood Park, we're able to create an extensive new parkland network, opening up opportunities for you to explore the beautiful countryside. We're giving the local wildlife every opportunity to thrive, by retaining and enhancing existing natural features, adding new trees and planting, creating wildlife corridors and connecting previously isolated habitats. Alongside the wilder green spaces, woodlands and trails, more formal parks and squares will fit neatly into the parkland network, with footpaths and cycleways connecting them. A major central park, at the heart of the development, will be the focus of leisure and recreational activity.
